    Welcome on my minidesert website. What´s minidesert? Its my hardy-suculent rockgarden I created and still improving every year in my garden. Several years ago I was asolutley impresed by the landscape during my roadtrip througt american south-west. Thats why I decided to set up such a small desert, a little peace and feel of Arizona in ma home garden and started to study literature about hardy suculent plants.

     I would like to present here my experiences, remarks and adventures with my hardy suculent rockgarden and how  plants fight the slovakian - central european weather. I dont want to copy here topics like how to make a bed and "invent hot water". I will focus on presenting my minidesert observations  a hope it will help somebody at his own attemt to create his own dry rockgarden.
